Purle Dino Travel
Overview
This was my senior year capstone. I worked with 9 other people to make a flight reservation app called Purple Dino Travel. As a group we made the frontend, backend, and supporting project manual.
The frontend is built with React.JS and the backend is a Java Spring Boot server running on an AWS EC2 instance. The backend also utilizes a MySQL database and is connected to the Amadeus Flight API for real time flight info and pricing.

- developed the Spring Boot Rest API we used for getting data
- made use of Google OAuth 2.0 to authenticate users
- made sure CORs policy and SSL certificates were correct
- fixed miscellaneous bugs and security issues

I learned a lot about full stack development through this project and the team I worked with was amazing!
